Emma Brady

EMA DUBSKY

George and Hana’s Grandmother, Ema lived in Prague and always brought treats for her grandchildren when she came to visit. On one very special visit, she presented Hana and George with red and blue scooters.

Elderly at the start of the war, Grandmother suffered from Parkinson’s but could not avoid deportation to Terezin on July 3, 1942.

Malnourished and without medical care, she passed away only three months later from a combination of illness and a lack of will to live.
